Lisa discovered her love for creative writing, reading and drama at an early age and some of her accomplishments include working as Assistant Editor to acclaimed author/writer, Omar Tyree on his sequel book, “For the Love of Money”.  She’s starred in the stage plays, David’s Second Chance and Long As I Got King Jesus.



In the year 2001, Lisa took a daring leap to flex her skills. She produced, wrote, directed and starred in the gospel play, “The Devil Touched Me Twice”, the story of one woman’s fight to hold on to her family as she battled tests and trials one after the other armed with prayer and an unwillingness to give up even in the face of defeat.  She has written many poems, short stories and skits, as well as performs her pieces at various local churches such as, “Motherless Child” and the most popular, “A Southern Woman Celebrating Life”.  Her writings have been featured in the Benton Spirit Community Newspaper, Str8up Magazine in the UK, Women of the Word E-Magazine and Sight 360 Magazine in South Bend, IN.          



       She is the founder of the Women Empowerment Social Network Group, an organization aimed at promoting positive bonds of sisterhood, building self-esteem and encouraging healthy lifestyles through tools of mentoring and volunteering.


She is a freelance writer/photographer and the author of, “The Gift – a Collection of Short Stories & Poems”, and is currently working on her sophomore book, 'Chocolate Ink'. Lisa resides in Georgia and can be heard every week on 'Real Talk With Lisa' on Harlem Lanes Radio live from New York.
